About usHow we work

A clear process, from first call to live product.

Four defined stages, a fixed scope and a price agreed before work begins. You see progress as it happens, remain in control of every decision and know exactly what you are paying for.

Our approach

Delivery built on partnership

We combine hands-on engineering with a collaborative way of working that keeps you focused on your business, not on managing the project.

  • 01

    Direct collaboration

You work alongside the engineers building your product, with no intermediaries between a question and its answer.

  • 02

    Defined scope and price

Scope, price and timeline are agreed in writing before development begins, and any change is agreed before it happens.

  • 03

    Visible progress

Each stage ends with working software you can use on your own devices, so progress is demonstrated rather than reported.

  • 04

    Measured by outcomes

We judge the work by what it achieves for your users and your business, not by hours logged or features shipped.

The process

Four stages, from idea to impact

Durations are typical for a first release and are confirmed in writing with your quote.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Establishing what to build, for whom, and why.

    1–2 weeks

We begin with a working session to understand your goals, your users and the constraints you are operating within. The outcome is a clear written scope and a fixed quote, agreed before any development starts.

    You receive

    • Written scope and user journeys
    • Technical approach and key risks
    • Fixed quote and delivery date
  2. 02

    Design

Shaping the product before it is built.

    2–4 weeks

We map every screen and how people move between them, starting with wireframes and progressing to high-fidelity designs. You review clickable prototypes on your own phone before development begins.

    You receive

    • Wireframes and user flows
    • High-fidelity interface designs
    • Clickable prototype for review
  3. 03

    Development

    Building in short, reviewable stages.

    4–12 weeks

The product is built in short iterations, each ending with a working build for you to test. Code is reviewed, tested and deployed continuously, so there are no surprises at the end of the project.

    You receive

    • Working builds at the end of each stage
    • Weekly written progress updates
    • Automated testing and code review
  4. 04

    Launch and support

Releasing with confidence, then staying close.

    Ongoing

We manage App Store and Play Store submission, production hosting and analytics, then remain on hand through a post-launch support period while real users arrive.

    You receive

    • Store submission and release
    • Monitoring and analytics in place
    • Full handover and support window

Communication

A rhythm you can rely on

You always know where the project stands, what has been decided and what happens next.

  • 1 dayMaximum response time to any question, on working days
  • WeeklyWritten progress update, with decisions and next steps
  • Every stageA working build on your own devices to review and test
  • SharedA dedicated channel with the engineers building your product

Quality

Standards built in from the start

Quality is not a phase at the end of a project. These practices apply to every line of code we write.

How to get started
  • Code review

Every change is reviewed before it is merged, keeping the codebase consistent and understandable.

  • Automated testing

Tests run on every change, so new features do not quietly break existing ones.

  • Accessibility

Interfaces are built to WCAG 2.2 AA, so your product works for every customer.

  • Security and privacy

Sensible defaults for authentication, data handling and dependencies, in line with UK GDPR.

  • Performance

Fast load times and smooth interactions, measured against Core Web Vitals and platform guidelines.

  • Documentation

Clear technical documentation, so any engineer can pick the project up after handover.
