Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated 17 September 2026.
This policy is a plain-English summary of how we handle personal data. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a solicitor before you rely on it for compliance.
Who we are
Zero Horizon Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through www.zero-horizon.com. You can reach us at hello@zero-horizon.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and anything else you choose to tell us — company, project type, budget, timeline and your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details for one purpose: to answer you and, if you go ahead, to deliver the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry you sent us) and, once engaged, performance of a contract.
Who processes it
Enquiries are delivered to our inbox by an email provider acting as our processor, and the site is hosted by a cloud hosting provider. Both may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted. Records relating to paid work are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@zero-horizon.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
