The product
Two things landed on UK dental practices at once. Missed appointments run at roughly one in ten, and none of them can be charged for on the NHS. At the same time the April 2026 contract change requires practices with 100+ UDA contracts to deliver 8.2% of contract value as unscheduled care — so they must hold capacity open while already losing it.
Those sound like two problems. They are one. Cut the no-shows, and route every cancellation straight to an urgent patient who is waiting.
How we approached it
Reminders that ask for a one-tap confirmation rather than just announcing the appointment, so an unconfirmed slot is visible hours ahead instead of at 9am.
A waiting list that is offered a slot the instant one is cancelled, rather than a receptionist working down a printed list.
A running count of unscheduled care delivered as a percentage of contract value, because that is the number the practice now has to evidence.
Everything in the demo is local to your browser. No data is stored or sent, and the practice is invented.

Name, colours and seed data come from a single config file, so a version branded for a specific practice takes minutes.
